Meet Shane!
Kia ora! I’m Shane - born in Christchurch and raised in Rowley. I’ve been on the tools for 12 years now, with the last 5 years spent working professionally in barbershops and sharpening my craft every day.
My barbering journey started from humble beginnings cutting hair in the garage. After my great senpai Luckysama bought me my first set of clippers, I spent 4 years teaching myself the craft before stepping into my first shop. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked on the culture, creativity, and confidence that barbering brings to people.

Outside the shop, I’m big into sports. During winter you’ll catch me playing league, and through summer I’m into touch and flag football. Most of my spare time is spent with my partner and daughter, getting out and enjoying life together.

How long have you been cutting hair for?
Been cutting for 12 years - from the garage, and been in a barbershop for 5.
What got you into barbering?
Friends and family. My great senpai Luckysama bought my first set of clippers, and from there I taught myself the craft for 4 years before jumping into my first shop.
What sport or hobbies are you into?
In the winter I play league, and through summer I like jamming touch and flag football. Don't have many hobbies - just enjoy spending my spare time heading out places with my partner and daughter.
Dream holiday destination?
Either Greece or Italy.
