BaBylissPRO’s founder was a much-admired hairstylist, Lelievre, who was working in Paris in the 1960’s. With his professional experience, he improved the first curling tongs and with an associate had the ingenious idea of marketing and distributing this innovation to professionals and the public and the BaByliss brand was born!

In 1995, BaByliss was acquired by Conair Corporation and continued to be a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-end professional and consumer care appliances in Europe & continued to expand this prestigious brand worldwide. By 1998 BaBylissPRO electrical styling tools were launched in Australia with superior professional styling tools including dryers, straighteners, curling tongs, hot rollers and more. 

In 2014 BaBylissPRO known for its quality and technology is re-invented the range for electrical tools with additions under the new ASPIRE range to offer a completely new range for salon stylists, editorial hairdressers and also to bring this salon-quality into the hands of salon customers to keep their hair looking salon styled every day.
